What is "Variegated" - Definition & Explanation

Having streaks, marks or patches of different colors. Distinquished or characterized by a variety of different colors.
Having stripes, usually white, randomly up each leaf.

2. Exhibiting different forms, styles, or varieties
Thread that is dyed in multiple colors in sequence so that the thread will uniformly change colors.
