Cover Stitch Sewing: Seamless, Durable Finishes for Fashion and Activewear Garments


Cover stitch is a sewing technique widely used in the textile industry to create durable, stretchable, and professional-looking seams on knit fabrics. It involves two or more parallel lines of stitching on the top side of the fabric, with a looper thread on the underside that forms a zigzag pattern between the top stitches. This technique provides both functional and decorative benefits to garments and is commonly used in activewear, sportswear, lingerie, and other stretchy apparel.

The cover stitch machine, also known as a coverstitch or coverlock machine, is specifically designed for this type of stitching.
